Dr. John Rao, Associate Professor of History at St. John's University in New York City, and Director of the Roman Forum, has launched a new initiative to awaken Catholics to the full meaning of the doctrine of the Sacred Heart for the Kingship of Christ over individuals and society at large and the way in which John Locke and his teachings, so prevalent in the post-Vatican II Church, prevents this goal from ever being achieved. Dr. Rao hopes to build on the work of William Blake (1757-1827) who attempted long ago in Britain: "To cast off Bacon, Locke & Newton from Albion's covering; To take off his filthy garments, & clothe him with Imagination." Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
have mercy on us.
